What is the meaning of storytelling in the cognitive realm?

Storytelling is about connection, identifying the problem, provide the solution, and even sharing conceptual richness. Thus, the meaning of storytelling is to create and enhance relationships and cognitive therapy. Through storytelling, it can identify their distortions and able to provide cognitive therapy to them to understand and make sense of the reality of the world they live (Friedberg, n.d.).

Story

There are many tricks to improve brain from confusion. Liston (1994) explains the relevant neuroscience of the brain organization and structure in terms of education through narrative storytelling. Narrative storytelling is one of the most excellent methods to capture meaningful patterns from chaos. Thus, the author encourages educators to add new ideas and objects with connections and recognizable patterns and relationships through storytelling. The storytelling is based geographically with the natives as the characters. These enable the students to understand the significant context of the story and understand a new culture. Storytelling helps the children to enjoy their learning and create a lasting memory. From there, it will go further on how the story make learning better.
