In the digital storytelling literacy practices, the researcher Lopez observed that the students learn well through creating a blog that involved using multiple literacies (writing, images and videos) to promote their social interaction with the readers. Writing is considered as a textual composition due to use the language knowledge with multiple and dynamic facts.
Hence, it requires critical thinking, knowledge construction, understanding, and interpreting that lead to learning awareness. Thus, storytelling benefits children in diverse methods that can support their academic success, cognitive, sociocultural, and psychological advantages in terms of building their confidence. Besides that, storytelling also helps their creative expression, to recall their facts, assist in their comprehension abilities, and contributes to listening and concentration skills. Media literacy knowledge and practice also matters for the teachers to guide the students in the media culture where words, powerful visual and sound elements create a literacy (Mesa & Alejandro, 2020).
